                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED ON THE
                   NORTHWEST LINE OF INTERSTATE 75 AT SOUTH
                   CHICKAMAUGA CREEK, FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO
                   C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
                A tract of land shown on the attached map and
                located on the northwest line of Interstate 75 at
                South Chickamauga Creek.  An unplatted tract, being
                the property described as Tract 2 in deed book
                2514, page 310, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 157M-A-9.3
                (part).
               
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
